Bohle Conference and Language Services, previously known as Ecco Conference and Language Services, opened its doors in 2003.
Based in the beautiful city of Cape Town at the foot of Table Mountain in South Africa where many cultures blend, we work throughout sub-Saharan Africa in collaboration with translators for clients who are located all over the world.
MISSION
Our main objective is to provide quality language services in sub-Saharan Africa to our client base of individuals, government departments, NGOs, funding organisations and corporations. We believe that all our clients are equally important, whether small or big, and that each one deserves an equal measure of our attention.
Cultures on the African continent are growing closer together, just as they are across the world, due to the spread of the internet, globalisation of national economies, and growth of job outsourcing. In this environment, reliable translation and interpretation services are essential to maintaining good communication. Our experience and expertise, combined with those of our strategic partners enable us to meet your specific language needs.
We are aware that quality language services have their price and we constantly look for ways to keep our rates cost effective, competitive and fair for both our suppliers and our growing client base.
Local sourcing of the best available interpreters and technical resources in the most efficient manner is one of the ways we optimise operations. For example, we aim to source simultaneous and consecutive interpreters for our sub-Saharan clients from as close as possible to their conference venues and we extend our search globally only if we are unable to locate interpreters in the main hubs of South Africa, Cameroon, Kenya, Senegal, Egypt and Ethiopia.
To sum up, we offer a professional, reliable, affordable, helpful and easily accessible service and we look to establish long-lasting and rewarding relationships with all our clients.
MANAGEMENT
At Bohle Conference and Language Services we share a passion for languages and assisting people of different languages to communicate with each other.
Barbara Bohle founded Bohle Conference and Language Services in 2003. Between 1994 and 2002 Barbara ran Ecco Conference & Language Services, which offered the same quality services as her present company does. Barbara’s extensive experience includes leading teams of interpreters and translators at various local, national and international conferences in sub-Saharan Africa over the past 15 years.
Assisting Barbara in Bohle Conference and Language Services are administrator Farah Begg and Nandi Xubuzana, who looks after general requirements within the company.
